Education at M.M.Joshi Eye Institute

The education and training of health care professionals are important because they affect the quality and level of care patients receive. At M.M.Joshi Eye Institute, education and training are given special importance. This arises from our recognition of the fact that the imbalance in the distribution of health care across the world is largely due to imbalances in the distribution of not only material, but also human resources. Therefore, when considering their healthcare/eye care options, patients should be mindful of their provider’s training and qualifications.

M.M.Joshi Eye Institute is recognized by the National Board of Examinations, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India for training of postgraduates in Ophthalmology for DNBE (Diplomate of National Board of examinations), also conducts CMEs (Continuing Medical Education) for Ophthalmologists.

In order to ensure effective, accessible, and adequately distributed health/eye care of international standards across our country, committed and well-trained health/eye care professionals are needed to facilitate the dispensation of high quality health care in areas where it is most needed.
