He and his group has honored at all national forums,
organization like ‘ORBIS’ international organization dedicated to
pediatric opthalmolagy,vision-2020 UN-sponsored organization have joined
hand for services to ready people.
In short his long struggle, commitment to build an
institution, has benefited the public at large of Hubli Dharwad and
around and around for complete range for speciality eye care services.
Institute, which Dr. M. M. Joshi has built caught
the national attention. Hence, his institute has been recognized for
postgraduate training in ophthalmology NBE-New Delhi. Already number of
students have got postgraduate recognition.
Dr. M. M. Joshi believes strongly in continued
education updating the latest technology. At least two large scale
continued medical programs are conducted every year in the institute.
Institute encourages consultant doctors to present quality papers in
various national programs greatest quality of Dr. M. M. Joshi is
teaching young aspiring ophthalmologist to gain confidence to be on
their on own. He was a teacher postgraduate student at “KIMS”. Number of
such doctors have been encouraged by him. He enjoys the success of such
doctors.
Equal visible is another facet of Dr. M. M. Joshi.
He firmly believes, that he owes a lot to the community and wants to
express his gratitude in terms of services to them. He has chosen poor
needy people from rural masses and slum areas for his services to
community.
He has amazing statistics of his community service.
So far he has conducted 169 free eye camps, checked and advised over 5
lakhs people and operated over 50,000/- patients. Patients in free eye
camps, get free operation, free food, travel for self and a person who
accompanies him.
Dr. M. M. Joshi belongs
to spiritually rich family. His ancestors gave eyes to large number
devotees to see one’s inner self. Now in the era Dr. M. M. Joshi gives
sight to see this beautiful, world with the back ground of his family,
he believes that he has no right to make a person loose his eye because
of one’s poor professional capability. Hence, his quality of work for
paying patient and free patient remains the same.
